Itinerary

  • Welcome to Sri Lanka! Our friendly guide will meet you at Bandaranaike International Airport and drive you to your hotel in Colombo or Negombo to rest.
  • If you feel like exploring straight away, you can take an optional afternoon city tour.
  • Visit local highlights like Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square, or simply enjoy the ocean breeze at Galle Face Green.
  • Enjoy your first Sri Lankan dinner and get a good night's sleep.
  • Start your day with an early breakfast before we head out to Pinnawala.
  • Stop by the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to see the elephants up close, especially during their morning river bath.
  • Continue the drive to Dambulla, check into your hotel, and enjoy a satisfying lunch.
  • In the afternoon, explore the Dambulla Cave Temple, a spectacular UNESCO World Heritage site filled with ancient statues and detailed wall paintings.
  • Return to your hotel in Dambulla for dinner and rest.
  • Have an early breakfast, then set off to climb the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress while the morning air is still cool.
  • On the way to Kandy, stop at a traditional spice garden in Matale to learn how local spices are grown and used in everyday life.
  • Arrive in Kandy, check into your hotel, and enjoy a relaxing lunch.

  • Check into your hotel in Ella, relax, and enjoy dinner.
  • Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before leaving the hill country and driving down to the warmer plains of Yala.
  • Stop for lunch at a local restaurant just outside the national park.
  • Jump into a 4x4 jeep for an exciting afternoon wildlife safari. Keep your eyes open for wild elephants, colorful birds, and the elusive Sri Lankan leopard.
  • Head to your camp or lodge near Yala to check in.

  • If you love wildlife, you can choose to do an optional second safari early in the morning before breakfast.

  • Have lunch and dinner at a beachfront restaurant, enjoying the coastal breeze.
  • Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before we drive back to the bustling capital city of Colombo.
  • Visit the National Museum or the Colombo Dutch Museum to dive into the island's rich history.
  • Grab lunch at a highly-rated local restaurant.
  • Spend your afternoon doing some last-minute souvenir shopping or exploring the city streets.
  • Celebrate your trip with a special farewell dinner at a restaurant overlooking the ocean.
  • Spend your final night at your Colombo hotel.
  • Have your final Sri Lankan breakfast at the hotel.
  • Enjoy some free time to relax or do a bit of nearby sightseeing, depending on your flight time.
